Let me introduce myself.  My name is Bill Sils. 

I am a licensed, bonded and insured General Contractor and Handyman with 30 years experience in home remodeling, maintenance and repairs.

I grew up in Sacramento, California, moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1975, and have lived in Seattle since 1988. 

During that time, I have owned many properties and either built or remodeled all of them.  I started learning about working with tools in my basement, building a model railroad layout at age 10.

After I moved to Alaska, I bought a house, turned it into a duplex and built a 4-plex on the lot next door.  This project involved every kind of construction activity you can imagine, from clearing the lot with heavy equipment to putting the last bit of paint on the trim. 

I also built a duplex in Costa Rica overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  This project took years and years to complete, as I was only able to be there a few months each year.  I did most of the work myself from design to rental, start to finish.

I have extensively remodeled 2 homes in West Seattle in the past 15 years during my spare time.  You can see some before and after photos of a kitchen that I redid prior to the sale of the house.

I have helped family and friends with their home maintenance needs for the past 30 years, along with being involved with my own projects.

After learning all the various skills needed to be a do-it-yourselfer for all these years, I  decided to make a business of it.  My specialty has become providing Handyman services to homeowners.
